CO2 Laser / Picosecond Laser

A CO2 laser emits infrared light with a wavelength of 10,600 nm and is primarily used for ablative skin resurfacing.

Applications:

  • Treatment of scars (acne scars, surgical scars)
  • Skin resurfacing and rejuvenation (wrinkles, fine lines)
  • Removal of warts, moles, and skin tags
  • Treatment of sun damage and hyperpigmentation

     

    Picosecond Laser

    A picosecond laser operates at extremely short pulse durations (picoseconds = trillionths of a second). This technology is used mainly for non-ablative treatments and excels at targeting pigment in the skin without causing significant thermal damage to surrounding tissues.

    Applications:

      • Tattoo removal (all colors)
      • Treatment of pigmented lesions (melasma, age spots)
      • Skin rejuvenation and texture improvement
      • Acne scar treatment (non-ablative fractional mode)
